Dear ISDA members,

This is your invitation to join our 2020 biennial conventions, for both the Order and Fraternal Association, which will be held at the Hilton Hotel in Cleveland, Ohio from Aug. 8 to Aug. 12.

The Ohio District, under the the leadership of ISDA Vice President Marie Frank, will host the conventions, and the committee has planned an exciting list of activities for everyone.

By attending the conventions you can become part of ISDA’s leadership team while making new friends, enjoying the company of old friends, and creating family memories.   

This is a wonderful opportunity for all of us to celebrate our Italian American heritage together.

The convention package is very reasonably priced and includes a four-night stay at a beautiful hotel with great views of Lake Erie, the President’s cocktail reception on Saturday evening, the celebration of Mass and the convention’s opening brunch on Sunday, a special tour and dinner at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Sunday evening, a river and lake cruise on Monday afternoon, a great dinner party with entertainment Monday evening, and the Installation Dinner Dance on Tuesday evening.

At all lodge meetings throughout the month of May, delegates will be elected to represent the lodge membership at the conventions. Each lodge will be notified of the number of delegates it is entitled to, based upon its membership.

Lodge delegates, as always, will receive a 50% discount on their convention package, or a fully complimentary convention package, if the delegate is elected to represent the lodge at both the Order and Fraternal conventions.

We encourage all ISDA members who are not selected as delegates to attend the convention as well.

The convention package is so reasonably priced that it provides a special opportunity for you to have a fun-filled vacation and enjoy all the activities that have been planned.

Please be aware that several of the districts will be providing bus transportation to and from the convention at a very nominal price.
